Treatment Approach

“The meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed.”

   Carl Jung

My mission is to help people and communities and I am sensitive to human adversity.

Born in Israel, I grew up in the US and over the years I gained clinical experience with individuals, groups, communities, and creating music as an artistic expression and as a therapeutic tool for healing.

I see the therapeutic process as an opportunity to help the client achieve a mind-body balance. This balance creates a safety net for the person to make clear and coherent decisions and navigate thoughts and behaviors from a place of awareness, responsibility and personal empowerment. The client can create new belief systems tailored to his or her true self, enabling a positive attitude and personal freedom of action.

I believe the foundation for meaningful work and self-growth is establishing trust and a meaningful alliance in the therapeutic relationship. When we have personal trust and commitment, the healing process can begin.

Transformation can occur when thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and physical sensations that were previously unknown are revealed to consciousness. This process requires a great deal of courage and at the same time it enables for a good, balanced and healthy life.

My counseling approach focuses on mobilizing client strengths and is solution-focused. I see the person as responsible for creating meaning in his or her life. As needed, I combine various therapeutic tools such as: body-based approaches like Somatic Experiencing® (SE) and Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Music Therapy and Expressive Arts.

I value and prioritize each person's privacy and sessions are conducted in a calm, safe and confidential setting at the clinic or online.

"Feeling real is more than existing; it is finding a way to exist as oneself...and to have a self into which to retreat for relaxation."
